Hey! It’s May Day! Although International Workers Day and Labour Day are important, they are terribly earnest and carry all the gravitas of noble purpose and hard-won rights and have little danger of sliding into obscurity. (this is a test post to trial the template)
Where’s the fun and frivolity of this, the traditional first day of summer? While spring seems far away and winter hanging on, lets crown the Queen of the May and dance the Maypole and maybe even brighten someone’s day by giving “May baskets”
